None. Tearing down Thomas Jefferson’s contributions to a burgeoning America because he owned slaves is the argument of a fool who refuses to judge a human being for his total worth. And Thomas Jefferson’s worth to America far exceeds his flaw for owning slaves, though slavery in the 1800’s was a grievous, yet commonplace evil.
But the very people who are condemning Jefferson—meaning progressives—are those letting in hordes of illegals from all over the world, who are essentially working hand-in-glove with the Mexican cartels, who are allowing the drug fentanyl to penetrate the 50 states and murder American citizens. Open borders are illegal and evil and arguably as bad as, or worse than, slavery.
Is Anything Worse Than Slavery?
Those demeaning the reputation of Jefferson, as well as other Founding Fathers, are also turning a blind eye to criminals throughout the country who are robbing and looting basically without punishment since they are just slapped on the wrist, and often loot or rob again, with the same ineffective deterrence.
Do progressives really think defunding police departments and hiring social workers to replace them will somehow benefit innocent citizens when they need police more than ever because of the rampant crime being committed throughout the country?
Those criticizing Jefferson also voted for Joe Biden for president, despite the fact that Biden and his son Hunter and brother Jim allegedly took millions from Russia, China, and Ukraine on a pay-for-play basis, thus compromising the welfare of their own country.
Those criticizing Jefferson promote Critical Race Theory, which intentionally turns people with one skin color against those with another. Yet these are the same people who champion diversity and think quotas, which benefit one group over another, make America a better country. Better for whom?
Those criticizing Jefferson are even exposing elementary age students to drag queens, and encourage cross-dressers to parade themselves at school assemblies. They champion trans female athletes who compete against women and dominate their sports because of their obvious physical strength.
Why are progressives demeaning American education–teaching our children to hate each other because of their skin color, and subjecting them to abnormal behavior, pretending it’s normal? Is it because they learned from Hitler, who used the same kinds of techniques, teaching Germans to hate Jews?
Compare the Goals of Progressives to the Goals of the Founders
Now compare the changes being imposed on Americans by progressives to the evils associated with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. And ask yourselves: Aren’t progressives enforcing abnormal behavior on the entire country? Isn’t that tantamount to enslaving the nation?
Compare the self-proclaimed “new moralists,” who call themselves progressives, to the Founders who wrote the Declaration of Independence, fought to free America from the dictatorship of King George III, and wrote the American Constitution. Will history compare progressives to freedom fighters or Gestapo?
Remember that America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, based on the Ten Commandments, handed down, according to the Old Testament, by God to Moses. And these principles manifest themselves in our founding documents. Now, if progressives don’t believe in those principles, what do they believe in?
What Do Progressives Believe In?
Many progressives no longer believe in God; instead, they believe in government. How do we know? Ask them. They will tell you, for example, they accept whatever Dr. Fauci or the CDC tells them. Why? Because they believe government knows best.
And yet, just now—finally—the CDC admits it made many mistakes during the Covid Pandemic. Does that really matter now? Not really. The damage to the population—not from Covid—but from government demands, followed up by demands from corporations and the military–have already taken their toll.
To go from dehumanizing Thomas Jefferson to dehumanizing society doesn’t take more than media, corporations, and an education system willing to impose the will of government on a population too slow to object. In fact, dehumanization begins by toppling one statue of Thomas Jefferson.
